Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Fundraising, the Coordinator, Digital Fundraising will assist in the implementation of a strategic digital engagement and fundraising plan to most effectively acquire, convert, and retain constituents. Responsibilities will include production of digital campaigns and products across multiple channels designed to engage many constituencies in Audubon’s work to protect birds and the habitat in which they live.

Essential Functions

  • Aid Senior Manager, Digital Fundraising and Mid-Level Giving Manager in reviewing and approving online fundraising copy, digital assets, and audience segments prior to campaign launches.
  • Traffic digital assets, approvals and requests from multiple departments to execute campaigns with multiple stakeholders.
  • Contribute to overall strategy for acquiring and retaining sustaining donors.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Digital Fundraising in managing invoice processing and expense tracking from online fundraising vendors.
  • Lead Gift Fulfillment and stock updates on Audubon’s Adoption Center.
  • Assist in production and quality assurance of digital assets for Online Direct Response and Great Egret Society programs.
  • Alongside Senior Manager, Digital Fundraising assist donor services team with online fundraising related requests.
  • Working alongside Senior Manager, Digital Fundraising analyze the success of Audubon’s online fundraising campaigns and find ways to grow the program.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years’ work experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or background working in Marketing / Fundraising preferred.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders across different internal departments and external vendors.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced work environment, and demonstrated ability to solve problems, ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of CRM technology, Email and Online Advertising Tools desired. Every Action and Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Ability and interest in quickly learning a variety of new digital tools, processes and techniques.
  • Ability to build consensus and work effectively across departments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and digital production skills a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the National Audubon Society.
  • Commitment to further Audubon’s efforts to create a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment.
  • Previous non-profit experience preferred
  • An interest in conservation, birds and/or birding not required but strongly preferred.
