Reporting to the Manager, Public Programs, the Senior Education Coordinator will develop and implement environmental, public, and volunteer programming for Debs Park. The focus will be school programs including, outdoor field trips, classroom visits as well as coordinating and running our Audubon Youth Programs. The Senior Education Coordinator will plan community programs and events for families and adult participants, including community science projects, both at the Center and in local communities. The Senior Education Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, lead volunteer recruitment and communication, as well as plan and lead volunteer workdays, trainings, and related activities. The Senior Education Coordinator will also create content for social media aimed at raising the profile of the Center and advertising it programs.
This position is in-person at The Audubon Center at Debs Park, Tuesday through Saturday 7:45-4:15, with some flexibility for remote work occasionally.
$62,400 / year
